Ever onward

Sun Jan 11, 2009, 2:33 PM
Added a few more pictures today.
Done a couple of outings using my new 150mm Macro and so far so good. It is a heavy lens, but its increbily sharp.
It made me realise how crappy my monitor was at home.

So now I have a new monitor as well as a new lens.

I'm starting to think about going all primes in my setup. Just about every picture that I have that really stand out for me have been shot with one of my primes. The zooms are convenient, but the end result is what I'm after.
Only way I am really going to know is if I buy more primes to at least cover some more points than what I've got and see if I miss the zooms.

Thanks. I really enjoy taking picures of animals, seems much more candid for me than people.

Hi Jason!
Thanks for the great comment and :+fav: on my Goldfinch shot, they've changed to their "winter" coats now, not nearly as pretty!
Have a great DAy!!! Rob the Swash
